Reject calls from people who have chosen to keep their name and/or numbers private.

How to use

Lift the handset and check for a dial tone.
Press *77 (rotary users dial 1177).
You will hear a double tone confirmation.
Hang up.

How to cancel

Lift the handset and check for a dial tone.
Press *87 (rotary users dial 1187).
You will hear a double tone confirmation.
Hang up.

Redials a busy number until the line is free. Once the line is free, the call is connected and a distinctive ring alerts you that the call is connected.

How to use

To find out the number of your last caller, lift the receiver and press *66.
You will be provided with the number of the caller, even if you were unable to answer the call. Blocked numbers will not be announced.
If you decide to return the call, simply press (1) and your phone will dial the number.
If the call you are trying to return is busy, hang up and your phone will continue to redial the busy line for up to 30 minutes.
When the line is no longer busy, you are notified by a special ring – simply pick up the phone and the call will connect.

How to cancel

Press and release the receiver hook. Listen for the special dial tone. If you have already hung up, lift the handset and listen for the normal dial tone.
Press *86 (rotary users dial 1186).
Listen for the confirmation tone or announcement.
Hang up.

Note: To start the thirty (30) minute clock, repeat steps 1-3. Automatic Call Back has the ability to check as many as thirty-one (31) busy lines at once. This feature does not work on 500 numbers, 800 numbers, 900 numbers, numbers outside the specified service area, or lines where Call Forward and some other call services.

How to Use

Press *69 (rotary users dial 1169).
You will hear a double tone confirmation.

Wherever you go, make sure that you don’t miss important calls by forwarding them to any local or long distance number that you select. Turn the feature on, off, and change the forwarding number from your home telephone. You also determine how many times the phone will ring before the call is forwarded.

How to use

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *72 (rotary users dial 1172).
Listen for a second dial tone.
Dial the number to which you wish to forward your calls.
When the party answers, your Call Forward is in effect.
If the line is busy, or there’s no answer:
Hang up.
Within 30 seconds, repeat steps 1 – 4 above. You’ll hear a double tone confirmation to let you know your Call Forwarding is now working.

How to cancel

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *73 (rotary users dial 1173).
Listen for the double tone confirmation.
Hang up.

Note: You will hear short rings on your phone as a call is being forwarded. You will not be able to answer these calls. You will, however, be able to make outgoing calls. If the forwarded number that you wish to use is a long distance number, you will be charged the long distance rate for each call that is forwarded and accepted.

Immediately forward calls to any local or long distance number you select if the line is busy.

How to use

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *90 (rotary users dial 1190).
Listen for a second dial tone.
Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded.
When the party answers, Call Forward Busy is activated.
If the line is busy, or there’s no answer:
Hang up.
Within 30 seconds, repeat steps 1 – 4 above. You’ll hear a double tone confirmation to let you know your Call Forward Busy is now working.

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *91 (rotary users dial 1191)
Listen for the double tone confirmation.

Forwards calls to any local or long distance number you select after a specified amount of rings.

How to use

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *92 (rotary users dial 1192).
Listen for a second dial tone.
Enter the number of rings (from 2 to 9) to be allowed before calls are forwarded, then dial the number where you want your calls forwarded.
When the party answers, your Call Forward No Answer is in effect.
If the line is busy, or there’s no answer:
Hang up.
Within 30 seconds, repeat steps 1 – 4 above. You’ll hear a double tone confirmation to let you know your Call Forward No Answer is now working.

How to cancel

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *93 (rotary users dial 1193).
Listen for the double tone confirmation.
Hang up.

Forward your calls anywhere from any touch tone telephone. Turn the feature on, off, and change the forwarding number from any touch tone phone.

How to use

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Dial your local access number and wait for the second dial tone.
(exchange-5000 Ex: 276-5000 or 477-5000)
Enter your ten (10) digit telephone number followed by your four (4) digit PIN number and again listen for the dial tone. (Default PIN is the last 4 digits of phone #.)
Press *72.
Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded.
When the called party answers, the feature is activated.
If the line is busy, or there’s no answer:
Hang up.
Within 30 seconds, repeat steps 1 – 5 above. You’ll hear a double tone confirmation to let you know your Call Forwarding is now working.

How to cancel

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Dial your local access number and wait for the second dial tone.
Enter your ten (10) digit telephone number followed by your four (4) digit PIN number and again listen for the dial tone.

See who is calling before you answer the phone. Stores names and numbers on a Caller ID unit even if callers hang up or don’t leave a message.

How to use

When a call comes in, the Caller ID unit will receive the information after the first ring.
The incoming caller’s name and phone number will appear on the display screen.
If you choose to accept the call, pick up the handset. If you choose not to accept the call, no action is necessary.

Note: Before using this feature, users must subscribe to Caller ID and purchase a Caller ID unit or phone. When the letter P or the word Private appears on the screen, this indicates that the caller’s phone number has been blocked. When phrases like unknown name, unknown number, or unavailable appear on the screen, this is an indication that the incoming caller is in an area that does not support Caller ID.

Automatically block your caller ID information each time you place a call. Your telephone number will always appear as “Private” or “Anonymous” on a caller ID unit.

How to use

To activate this feature, contact Yucca Telecom and ask for Caller ID Line Blocking.

Note: It is not necessary to subscribe to Caller ID to have Per-Line Blocking.

Block your Caller ID information only for certain calls by entering a simple code before you place your call. If the person you are calling has Caller ID, they will see “Private” or “Anonymous” displayed on their unit.

How to use

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *67 (rotary users dial 1167).
Dial the number you wish to call.
No action is necessary to deactivate this feature.

Note: The user must dial *67 (rotary users dial 1167) before EACH call. Otherwise, the number will be displayed on the Caller ID unit of the person being called.

Get more done by talking to two people in separate local or long distance locations at the same time.

How to use

Call the first person.
Press the receiver hook.
When a dial tone is heard, dial the number of the second person.
Once connected, press the receiver hook to connect all parties.

Identify harassing callers via a trace performed by Yucca Telecom. If requested, we can provide the results of the trace to the appropriate authorities.

How to use

During the offensive call, press and quickly release the receiver hook. Listen for the special dial tone. If you have already hung up, lift the handset and listen for the normal dial tone.
Press *57 (rotary users dial 1157).
Listen for an announcement, push (1) to trace call.
Hang up.
The number you traced will be recorded by Yucca Telecom. If you decide to pursue the matter with the local authorities, Yucca Telecom will provide the results of the trace.

Note: Customer Originated Trace must be activated during or immediately after the call you wish to trace. If another call is received before activation or Call Waiting is activated during the harassing call, you will be unable to trace the offending call. In some areas, after activating the Call Trace feature, a recorded message will state that the call can be traced. Simply follow the voice instructions.

Use your telephone without missing other calls. A special tone alerts you to a waiting call.

How to use

While on a call, a small beep or distinct tone will alert you of another incoming call.
Press the receiver hook or the flash button to answer the second call.
When the second call is answered, the first call is automatically placed on hold.
To return to the original call, press the receiver hook or the flash button.

How to cancel

You may turn off this feature temporarily by pressing *70 before you make a call (rotary users dial 1170). This feature works only on a per-call basis.

Note: This feature is on at all times and is available on all calls whether they are incoming or outgoing. This feature may interfere with modem use, but can be turned off temporarily as detailed above.

See who your second caller is on your Caller ID unit before answering the call. Your Caller ID unit shows you who the second caller is and you decide whether to answer.

How to use

To activate this feature, contact Yucca Telecom or and ask for Caller ID Call Waiting.

Note: Before using this feature, customers must purchase a Caller ID/Call Waiting unit or phone.

Your phone will use a special ring to announce calls from a list that you create. All other calls will have a normal ring pattern. If you have Call Waiting, calls from the distinctive ring list will have a special Call Waiting tone.

How to use

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *61 (rotary users dial 1161).
Follow the instructions provided by the recorded message that will also tell you how many numbers are stored on your list.

Channels incoming calls to your other telephone lines so that your callers don’t hear a busy signal.

How to use

To activate this feature, contact Yucca Telecom and ask for Hunting.

Notify callers that you have changed telephone numbers. Calls to a disconnected telephone number are forwarded to an announcement that informs the caller of the new number. You chose how long you want the telephone number forwarded—30 days ($2.50/month), 60 days ($5.00/month), or 90 days ($7.50/month).

How to use

To activate this feature, contact Yucca Telecom and ask for Number Referral.

There are times when you only want to hear from certain people. Create a list of up to 31 telephone numbers. Only calls from those numbers will ring through to your telephone. Incoming calls from numbers not on your list will receive an automated message stating that you are not currently accepting calls.

Press *64 (rotary users dial 1164).
Follow the instructions provided by the recorded message.

There are some calls you just don’t want to receive. Create a list of up to 31 telephone numbers. Incoming calls from those numbers will be blocked. A recorded message tells the caller you are not presently accepting calls. All other calls are handled normally.

How to use

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *60 (rotary users dial 1160).
Follow the instructions provided by the recorded message.

Quickly reach frequently called numbers by dialing just one digit.

How to set up

Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Press *74 (rotary users dial 1174).
Listen for a second dial tone.
Assign a speed dial code by dialing any number between 2 and 9, then dial the phone number you wish to save. For long distance numbers, include a 1 or 0 and the area code.
Press the # key (rotary users wait four seconds).
Listen for dial tone.
To add another number press *74 and repeat above steps.
When finished, simply hang up.

With Distinctive Ring identify which number is ringing when you have two numbers ringing to the same line. For instance–one ring means a call for you, the other means it is for your teenager. This feature also works great with fax machines; most fax machines can be programmed to only answer the distinctive ring pattern. You will no longer answer the phone only to find it was for the fax.

Allows you to have a phone that makes local calls only and blocks outgoing 0-plus and 1-plus long distance calls.

Note: Toll Restriction allows 1-800 and 1-888 calls to be placed normally.

Allows you to block calls to numbers beginning with 500, 900, and 976.
