Pay-Per-View Event FAQs:
Find answers to the most common questions regarding Pay-Per-View events.
• How do I order an event?
Purchases will be made from the subscribers Set-Top-Box by tuning to channel 750 or 1750. Purchase price will be listed. User will follow the on screen menu to purchase. All purchases are final. There is a 3 day window before an event that a purchase can be made. Channels 750 and 1750 are not created equal. The event will air only on the channel that the purchase is made.
• Can I record Pay-Per-View events?
Recording is controlled by each event. Not all events can be recorded. If the event can be recorded simply tune to the program and press the record button on your remote.
• Can I stream Pay-Per-View events?
No, unfortunately streaming of Pay-Per-View events is not supported.
• I purchased the event but am not going to be able to watch it or changed my mind. Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately, all Pay-Per-View events are non-refundable. If you are not able to watch the event live, we recommend recording (if record option is available) the event so you can watch it later at your convenience.
• Can I watch the event on any TV after I have made the purchase?
Yes! Once the purchase has been made the program will be broadcast within the home network. Any of the Set-Top-Boxes will be capable of viewing the program.
• Can I protect my account from unauthorized purchases?
Yes, you will have the ability to create a PIN number for PPV purchases. This will protect you from unwanted purchases as long as you keep your pin number private. You may control the PIN from your set-top-box.
• If forgot my PIN number what do I do?
You will need to do a hard reset on your set-top-box.
• Why won’t you let me charge the cost of the event to my next bill?
There are different reasons why you may be unable to order Pay-Per-View programming:
If you can’t charge the event to your next bill, it is often due to a PPV limit that has been exceeded on your account or will be exceeded by purchasing this event. Please make a one-time payment if you would like to purchase this event.
-Delinquent Account Balance
-PPV Events will not be available for purchase until your account balance is zero.
-A Pay-Per-View limit is the dollar amount of Pay-Per-View programming you are allowed to order on your account. -A Pay-Per-View limit is assigned to your account based on your individual credit results. Exceeding your Pay-Per—View limit is one of the factors that may affect your ability to order Pay-Per-View programming.
• I ordered an event but now I’m having technical problems with my receiver. How can I get it working again in time?
We’re sorry to hear that you’re having troubles. To get your service up and running as quickly as possible, first check that you are viewing the event on the right channel. If that didn’t work, try resetting your receiver by pressing “Reset” on the front panel.
